A British couple prefers a detached house 4 +1 at S$8,000. It must have a large garden, a decent-sized swimming pool, spacious internal areas for living and storage. The children will be studying in Tanglin School (in Clementi area) while the husband works in the city area. Therefore, North, West and East Singapore are not considered.

District 11. Detached 2-storey Sime Road, off Adam Road. Around 10 years old. 4 bedrooms upstairs with 2 each sharing bathroom. Big guest room, laundry room and maid's room downstairs. Big bright kitchen. Big garden and a good sized inground pool in 10,000 sf of land. Can hear slight humming traffic noise in backyard. House number has "4" and further away, there are old grave-yards. Husband loves the architecture while the wife dislikes having to "answer" to visitors the location of graveyard and the house number ending in "4". Rental $8,000 p/f. Still available.
