<15 minutes by bus to International schools and Science Park. Science Park - may need 2 buses or MRT plus shuttle from Clementi MRT. 4
bus-stops to Bukit Batok MRT and then to Raffles MRT is option for Raffles Place
executives.
Disadvantages:
- Non-expatriate enclave yet. However, as many expats have <S$3,000 rentals and have local pay
conditions, this place will become more popular. Japanese and European expatriates are
already in Southaven 1 condos. Decent brand new condo at inexpensive prices unlike expat
enclave areas where you get older worn out condos for equivalent rental.
- No squash court.
- Small gym
- Construction activity of Southaven 2 and Springdale still in
final stages. No more the loud piling noises.
- Train from Singapore to Johore - around 3 times/day; should
not be noisy.
- Some units faces quarry; some noises expected but they have
green views of Bukit Timah Reserve.
- Not walking distance to supermarkets.
