As at November 23, 1999, there were good responses to some properties marketed in Singapore.  These properties are near the lst or 2nd causeway and are bought as second homes for weekend holiday and maybe, hope of capital appreciation. 

Malaysian properties have always been attractive to Singaporeans.  Reputable property companies should be able to find excellent responses from Singaporeans.  The after-sales management must be good, as for all foreign property investments.    The cost is important too for investment properties although many of the properties do not get good rental returns.  Neither do Singaporean properties get good rental returns too.

Johor has recently amended some laws to promote sale of its excessive supply of properties.
