TANGLIN PARK
Low rise, low density, lush landscaping. 5-minute walk to Tanglin Mall, a Caucasian Tanglin Park's original pink bathroom favoured mall and Orchard Road. No problem finding tenants. 

The main complaint is that the bathrooms and kitchen cabinets are dated. Many Landlords have had re-modeled the whole unit. As the condo is popular, many owners have not had the time or inclination to completely remodel the dated furniture and cabinets of the apartment. Many expatriates prefer the brand new condos such as Claremont, Aspen Heights, Kim Yam Heights and UE Square.  

  Somehow, the pinkish long bath tubs of Tanglin Park, worn out by the years, do not appeal to many Caucasian expatriates compared to the white ones of new condos. However, the great location and proximity to downtown Orchard down and the Tanglin Mall over-ride coloured bath tubs and occupancy rate is above 90% most times.

German lady. Husband wants absolute noise-free residence.
Tanglin Park Blk 5A 4+1 2000 sq ft $7,000 fully furnished. 5th floor facing green trees shielding pool view. Brand new renovation room, kitchen and bathrooms. Quiet.
Tanglin Park Blk 5 4+1 2000 sq ft $6,500. Facing a wall of the opposite block. To the left is the low rise block which faces the Tanglin Road. Very slight traffic noise can be heard but the noise is shielded by the low rise block.

Advantages:
Great location being a 5-minute walk to the beginning of Orchard Road and the favourite Caucasian Tanglin Mall. Great demand by Caucasian expats.
Breezy. Balcony. Expat enclave.

Disadvantages:
Not as new as latest condos
