Completed in 1981. 99 year lease. 2-bedroom 109 sq. m 3-bedroom 163 sq. m Interiors: Living and dining rooms are separate and have teak parquet wooden flooring unlike the marble flooring in new condos. Bedrooms have teak parquet wooden flooring. This is a low density one block condo favoured by many expat families but units which are renovated are in demand. Great location, being near to Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Orchard Road and Somerset subways attract many Japanese and Caucasian expat tenants. Almost full occupancy. |
Facilities: Big swimming and wading pools, children’s playground renovated around 1997. 24-hours security and covered car park, tennis court, squash court mini-mart and multi-function room. Central air conditioning replaced by split units in some units. Pool and lobby areas upgraded, but external walls of buildings look dated. Unrenovated apartments rent considerably lower and may not be rentable at all as there is a large supply of new condos downtown. Examples are UE Square, Aspen Heights, Claremont, Kim Yam Heights and The Bayron, all with gyms. |
