As at May 26 2001, Aspen Heights of 606 units have been almost fully occupied.  Rents have gone up in general. There is such a great demand for those ground floor units with patios, rentals of which are from $4,000 for the 2-bedrooms and $5,000 for the 3-bedrooms that expat mothers must be decisive and confirm within 24 hours or lose out as supply is limited.

2 or 3-bedroom with big patio facing pool can be noisy but some mothers with little ones don't mind. Almost all are occupied, whether facing the pool or not.  Demand exceeds supply.
Master bedroom is quite spacious.  Dual basin sink in the master bathroom. Shower stall and bath tube. The television is installed by the Landlord. Blk 263. Rent of 3+1 bedroom is $5,200 fully furnished. 
2nd bedroom used as child's room. The television 



The 4-bedroom has a bigger living cum dining area.
3-bedroom's living and dining area.
3-bedroom's kitchen and main doors. There's a built-in shoe rack outside the door. Small storeroom inside the apartment.

 


Typical size of a maid's room  in all units, even in penthouses.  
European type washer and dryer in utility area for Caucasian expats. Good idea to block the big window behind as the family has small kids.  
Wood flooring and good quality closets. Ceiling fans installed in some units. The 4th bedroom in the 4-bedroom apartments do not have closets and is used as a study room.

 




Aspen Heights, with full condo facilities, including squash courts which are not found in many new condos, appeal to many Japanese and European expats as most of the spouses work in Suntec City or Raffles Place. For the Japanese, there's the Daimaru supermarket nearby. There's the Shop N Save supermarket just a 5-minute walk.  In addition, Aspen Heights has its own min-market.

At Shop N Save, there's the taxi stand and the free bus shuttle to the City Hall subway.  Younger Caucasian expats just love the Robertson Quay, Clarke Quay and Boat Quay where there are pubs, cafes and friends to meet. 

The heritage shophouses and the crystal green Singapore River, the Fort Canning Park and a 5-minute drive to downtown Orchard Road, make Aspen Heights a most popular condo.
