Large garden and pool. Conclusion: Young couple, no children. Seen various houses with various agents. Not satisfied with most conservation shophomes which rent below $10,000 compared to those renting higher. Liked thes style and newness of a Kim Yam heritage shophome (2 units in one, with plunge pool, 4-bedroom). Rented at $13,000. Impressed with the uniqueness of the Balinese-style semi-detached. Singapore has around, 2000 heritage shophomes with 100 having car porch. Top ones rent from $16,000. Those with stainless steel stairs, koi ponds or water features attract many expats with no children. It is hard to find a "good" downtown unique house for less than $12,000 for this young Indian lady from Shanghai. |
