DESIGN TRAVEL TOUR NO. 2:
DT/GE 603 Yangon-Inle Lake-Mandalay-Yangon (6 Days / 5 Nights)

Day 01 Arrive Yangon (_,L,D)
Upon arrival at Yangon Int'l airport, welcome by our local guide and transfer to your hotel. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, start sightseeing the Myanmar Gems Museum: the whole range of Myanmar ruby, sapphire, period and a variety of assorted colored stones, jade, pearls in lots or embedded in exquisite jewelry, gold ware, silverware and jade figurines. Sule Pagoda, in the city centre, China Town and Scott’s Market for shopping: famous Myanmar gems and jewellery sales centre. (Closed on every Monday) and special evening visit the great Shwedagon Pagoda.
Welcoming dinner at Karaweik Palace Restaurant with cultural show.
Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.

Day 02 Yangon-Heho-Inle Lake (by morning flight) (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to Heho. Then drive to Nyaung Shwe and transfer to hotel by boat. If you coincide, you can visit Mine Thauk Market, Floating Market, Phaung Daw Oo Market , where one can see several hill tribes selling and buying fresh vegetable and regional products and surroundings.
Afternoon visit very famous for its unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty. Tour highlights: Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, wonderful floating gardens, floating markets, Nga Phe Chaung (Jumping cats’) Monastery, silversmith workshops, traditional weaving industry, blacksmith and cigar making factory. Lunch at  restaurant. Enjoy Dinner at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel on Inle Lake.

Day 03 Inle Lake-Indein-Inle Lake (by boat) (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning 45 minutes boat trip to Indein to visit ancient Shwe Indein Pagoda complex following a stair path lined up with magnificent columns. Then visit floating gardens and the rest sightseeing.
Enjoy lunch at restaurant. Afternoon: Free to browse around and explore villages.  Dinner at Hotel.
Overnight at Hotel on Inle Lake.

Day 04 Inle Lake-Heho-Mandalay (by evening flight) (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel and then leisure. Afternoon transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay. On the way stop at Shwe Yan Pyaya Monastery for photo taking. Arrive Mandalay, transfer to hotel. Enjoy lunch & dinner at  restaurant.
Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

Day 05 Mandalay-Yangon (by evening flight) (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit gold-leaf making; the venerable Mahamuni Pagoda; Myanmar traditional handicraft workshops; wood carvings , Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for panoramic view of the city. and continue to Mahagandayon Monastery (Buddhist University) and silk & cotton weaving workshops.
Afternoon transfer to airport for flight back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon, transfer to hotel & check-in at hotel.
Enjoy Lunch and Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.

Day 06 Yangon Departure (B,_,_)
Breakfast at Hotel, transfer to Yangon Int'l airport for departure flight.
